Graduates
The Media School at Bournemouth University prides itself on educating highly employable graduates. We have 30 years worth of students now working in senior roles in the industry and they always look out for fellow Media School alumni.
We currently have graduates working for a wide range of high profile organisations across the globe, including BBC news, BBC sport, the Guardian, Absolute Radio, Heart, the BBC's 2011 Just William series, Whites, Misfits, Fantastic Mr Fox, Elle, Heat and many more.
Animation students have worked on recent blockbusters such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Avatar and How to Train Your Dragon to name but a few. A report published by NESTA (National Endowment for Science, Technology and Art) in February 2011 showed that nearly 50% of graduates working in the film, visual effects or video games industries come from Bournemouth University.
