This experience and expertise in developing courses makes The Media School graduates very employable.The Media School offers a rich mix of courses which cover complementary aspects of the media industries. This allows collaboration between students of different courses both as part of their course and extra-curricular projects, and can even extend into life after graduation.

Facilities

The Media School is one of the best-resourced University Media Schools in the UK.

Students produce work to industry standards and deadlines and work with equipment and packages that are standard within the industry. Facilities include television and radio studios, screening theatre, post-production facilities, animation and Mac studios, motion capture facilities and a writer's studio.

Placements

Placements are an integral part of most undergraduate and some postgraduate courses at The Media School.

The experience gained from placements is invaluable in putting learning into a real-life context. Placements are also a great opportunity to network and make contacts for the future. The Media School has developed excellent relationships with many media organisations enabling students to gain superb work placements.

Social Scene

Life at The Media School is not just about study, it is about relaxing and having fun too.

Bournemouth not only has a great nightlife, but there are lots of different things to do including cinemas, film festivals and other cultural events. The sandy beaches, the countryside of the New Forest, and other surrounding areas provide a wide variety of filming locations for students to take advantage of. If you can't get away from the pull of the big city, London's only a train journey away!
