The Media School at Bournemouth University is home to some of the most up-to-date facilities available.
Our industry connections with companies such as Sony, Apple and Sadie, mean we're at the cutting edge of technology design and are often among the first to use new software or equipment.
What's more, the Media School is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has wireless internet access throughout the building.
Facilities include:
- Sony HD TV Studio - Sony's bespoke design was the first campus-based facility of its kind in the country
- TV News Studio
- Video (Final Cut Pro) and audio editing suites
- 60 seat "cinema style" screening room
- Scriptwriting studio including Final Draft software
- Foley "voice-over" studio
- 3 radio studios and a radio newsroom
- Computer animation studios and a MoCap (motion capture) studio
- Interactive media studios equipped with Apple computers
- Desktop publishing and print (news) studios
- Life drawing and clay modelling room
- Design/ideas studio
- Portable recording and broadcast equipment
