Scholarships

Three female and one male international students

The Media School is awarding an increased number of scholarships to new international students who join our full-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the 2010/11 academic year.

Undergraduate level

At undergraduate level, there are ten scholarships offered for international (non-EU) students enrolling in 2010/11.

  • The scholarship consists of an annual payment of £1,000 for each year of your course (excluding placement years), subject to BU’s academic excellence criteria
  • They are offered to all international students who live outside of the European Union and are classed for fees purposes as 'overseas' students
  • We are looking for students who have achieved an exemplary standard in their previous studies or who have professional experiences that would bring exciting and valuable global perspectives to our student community.

Postgraduate level

At postgraduate level, the Media School offers:

  • Twenty £1,000 scholarships for students from any non-EU country
  • Two £2,000 scholarships reserved for students from India
  • Five £2,000 scholarships for students from Communications University of China (CUC)
  • The Reham al-Farra International Scholarship in Journalism for a student of the MA Multi-Media Journalism, valued at £3,000
