- Entry requirements

- If you'd like to study a full-time Media School degree you will need a minimum IELTS of 6.5-7, depending on the course. The Bournemouth University Preparatory English Programme (BUPEP) can help you improve your standard of English ready for entry onto your chosen course.
- Scholarships

- There are a range of scholarships available to international Media School students, including the Media School Postgraduate scholarship and the Media School Jai Hind Scholarship, which also for postgraduate international students. For international undergraduates there is the Bournemouth University Undergraduate International Scholarship.
- Postgraduate Study Skills Programme

- As a Postgraduate student in the Media School we offer a special Postgraduate Academic Study Skills programme that commences in your first week and continues throughout your first term. It is there to give you confidence and to help you succeed in your studies.
- It focuses on best practices in academic skills of undertaking literature reviews, capturing references and information, critical thinking and academic writing. The programme is run by our in-house Learning and Writing Counsellor who is dedicated to supporting you through workshops and one-to-one advice.
- Undergraduate Student Mentor Scheme

- Undergraduate international students are offered the opportunity to join our peer mentor scheme. We allocate all our first year students a mentor; a student on your course but in the year above.
- Your mentor sets regular meetings where they can advise and help you with coursework, study skills and other useful hints and tips.
